To mark the conclusion of season 2 and the launch of season 3, CPDSE hosted a two-day retreat on 21–22 January 2026 at Comwell Roskilde. About 30 enthusiastic participants actively engaged in CPDSE circles throughout season 2 came together to celebrate achievements, reflect on lessons learned, and set a clear direction for the season ahead.
Season 2 Highlights
During season 2, our focus was on bringing the joy of data science to more people by building a genuine, supportive community. We leaned forward with ownership and active commitment, taking responsibility for roles and initiatives across the center. Together, we:
- Cultivated a positive and collaborative culture
- Evaluated 18 PhD projects
- Hosted multiple ConvergenceTalks
- Launched Teach the Teacher sessions and a Book Club
- Built key infrastructure, including:
- A digital communication platform and homepage
- Growing industry partnerships
- Social media presence
- The PharmaDataHub@UCPH
