The Center for Pharmaceutical Data Science Education is a close collaboration between the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The center draws on seven departments with complementary leading profiles in pharmaceutical sciences, data science, and science education.

Organizational Structure
The center is supported by seven departments, each contributing distinct strengths in pharmaceutical sciences, data science, and science education. CPDSE operates through six dedicated circles-focused working groups that guide and advance the center’s mission and vision from initial concepts to real-world outcomes.

Develop and promote a strong external center identity to relevant stakeholders.

Data Science Facility
Build, maintain, and evolve the center’s data science infrastructure and practices, so center members and students have the best tools to develop data literacy and education.

Community & Organization
Create and evolve organizational principles, practices, and contexts so that center members are well-connected, feel belonging, and are jointly productive towards the center purpose.

Education
Create overview and lead the strategy for the center’s educational deliverables, so that center members deliver the right things and educational stakeholders are satisfied.

Mission
Ensure the overall cohesion and development of all center components, so that each subpart understands its purpose and funders and the board support the center as needed.

Research
Facilitate transparency, cross-fertilization, and methodology sharing so that center members can do research together.
